From July 29 to August 2, Suma Rikyu Park (Suma-ku, Kobe) will hold a water play event for preschoolers to elementary school students at the fountain square (on the lawn) (closed on August 1).
The event for preschoolers, “Let’s Play in the Chapu-Chapu Pool! features plastic pools of various sizes set up on the lawn of the fountain plaza. Visitors can enjoy playing in the colorful pools.
Also, “Chacha Chacha Water Play on the Lawn” will be held for preschoolers and elementary school students. Visitors can play with water guns and other games, using their bodies to their heart’s content.
Other popular areas for children include the “Children’s Forest Adventure Course,” where children can experience the forest and natural atmosphere while building up their physical strength in the lush greenery of Rikyu Park, and the “Jumbo Slide,” a powerful slide that is full of speed.
The park is also home to beautiful summer flowers such as water lilies, which can be enjoyed only at this time of the year.
<A word from the reporter:
This is a must-see for parents who want to let their children play in the water to their heart’s content! Children will be able to play happily on the spacious and beautiful grassy plaza, while their older brothers and sisters in elementary school will be active with water guns. This is an event that can be enjoyed by the whole family☆
