On July 6 and 7, “Tanabata no Yoru: Special Light-up of the Heritage of Industrial Modernization on Mt. Rokko” will be held at “Rokkosan Silence Resort” in Nada-ku, Kobe City.
The facility is a new incarnation of the Rokkosan Hotel, which opened in 1929. There is the “Old Wing Cafeteria,” which mainly serves sweets and light meals, and the “Sky Dining,” where visitors can enjoy BBQ and teppanyaki on the terrace with a spectacular view.
The Old Wing will be lit up for two days to commemorate the facility’s 100th anniversary in five years.
Special Dinner STAR LIGHT Course
In conjunction with the lighting up, guests can enjoy a special dinner at the “Dining in the Sky” and an evening café on the terrace.

The “Tanabata no Yoru Special Venus Parfait” available at the night café is said to be made with Shizuoka melon and cream cheese, and features chocolate and cookies that resemble the Milky Way.

<A word from the reporter>
It is wonderful that you can not only enjoy the lights and the night view together, but also have a special menu only for this day. I want to try shaved ice at the Tanabata Festival that will be held at the same time!
