On August 1, a heartwarming parent-child movie convention will be held at Kobe Bunka Hall in Kobe City’s Chuo Ward. This year’s film will be “Shitekidoki Lesser Panda” (to be released in 2022), produced by Disney & Pixar.
In “Mei Tokidoki Lesser Panda,” a young girl named Mei is suddenly transformed into a red panda for some reason. Why did Mei become a red panda? Can she return to her original form? What is the surprising secret hidden in her sudden transformation that even Mei does not know? This is a story about the relationship between a child who has reached puberty and her mother. Running time is approximately 100 minutes.
The “Oyako Film Festival” is planned so that parents and children can enjoy animated films together and talk about what they feel as a family. The event is held as an opportunity for citizens to think about human rights in their daily lives.
Participation is open to those who live, study, or work in Kobe City. Advance registration is required.
<A word from the reporter>
I think there are many things that are difficult to convey in words that can be sensed from the story of the movie. I hope this event will be a good opportunity for parents and children to go out together.
