The university has created an educational video on “heat stroke prevention” featuring Kobe Gakuin University student firefighters, which will be shown on the digital signage of vending machines that contribute to the local community starting today.
1. Release of Heat Stroke Prevention Video
In recent years, high summer temperatures have become the norm, and heat stroke tends to occur more frequently from late July to early August, after the rainy season. 742 people were transported to emergency medical services in July and August in 2023.
Heat stroke can be prevented by frequent hydration and avoiding heat. We can prevent heat stroke from occurring by being aware of our surroundings and calling out to one another.
