A small-scale, dispersed fireworks event “Minato HANABI – 5 Days of Colors for Kobe” will be held at Meriken Park in Kobe for 5 days from October 17 to 21. Admission is free.
During this period, approximately 700 fireworks will be shot offshore from Meriken Park for 10 minutes every day. The height of the fireworks will be low (up to No. 3), and speakers will be set up at the venue to play music, so visitors will not be able to fully enjoy the fireworks outside of Meriken Park. The viewing area will be a designated area (free of charge) within Meriken Park only.
This event is planned to replace the Minato Kobe Marine Fireworks Festival, which has been canceled for three consecutive years. On the day of the event, speakers will be set up at the venue and fireworks will be synchronized with music. The music to be used was decided by advance voting. Visitors will be able to enjoy the collaboration of music selected from various genres such as Japanese, Western, and jazz music, gorgeous fireworks, and the beautiful night view of Kobe. <
The fireworks will be displayed in the night sky of Kobe for the first time in three years.
I am excited about the moment I have been waiting for…
