The “Sankita Summer Festival” will be held from August 2 to 4 in the Sankita area (Chuo Ward, Kobe City) on the north side of Hankyu Kobe Sannomiya Station.
The Sankita Executive Committee is organizing the festival as part of its area management activities to create a lively atmosphere. The event will be held in the Sankita Plaza and Sankita Street to bring excitement to the hot summer season.
The “Sankita Summer Festival” is held with the aim of raising the profile of the Sankita area through the event. By making the event accessible to everyone, the event also aims to improve the circulation from Sankita to other areas.
During the festival period, the Sankita Plaza and Sankita Street will be the stage for live performances by artists registered in the “KOBE Machinaka Performance” program launched this April, as well as “Brazilian Samba,” “Classic Hula Dance,” “Lion Dance Parade,” DJ booths, food and drink booths, and more. In addition, yukata (summer kimono) rentals and other contents appropriate for a summer festival will be offered.
<A word from the reporter>
Make the hot summer hotter! Music and performances in the city will give you a different kind of uplifting feeling… ♪ During the festival, “Kobe Circle Fest 2024” will also be held nearby, so it’s a good idea to stop by during your outing.
