On September 11, “Ichikawa Danjuro XIII Ichikawa Shirasaru Succession Tour” will be held at Kobe Bunka Hall in Chuo Ward, Kobe City, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the hall’s opening. Admission requires the purchase of a ticket in advance.
Ichikawa Danjuro” is the name of the great master Ichikawa Danjuro, who established the history of Kabuki as the center of Edo Kabuki and has continued for more than 300 years up to the present day. after the “Face Yose Teodate Ceremony” held on October 31, 2022 at the Kabukiza, Ichikawa Ebizo assumed the name of Ichikawa Danjuro XIII Hakusaru, reviving the great master Ichikawa Danjuro after a nine-year absence.

Danjuro plays the role of Muneyoshi Kawachiyama, a scoundrel with a big personality, sex appeal, and charm.
