On October 6, “Umikaze Music Festival 2024” will be held at a special venue in Maiko Park (Tarumi Ward, Kobe City). Admission is free.
Bands, guitar and ukulele performances, and dances will be performed on the stage, enlivening the seaside venue.
Kazuteru Kawada, a.k.a. “Kawa-chan,” the “Fish Guy,” will also appear as a guest. Visitors will enjoy learning about the ecology of fish in a talk show with a fish quiz, and also think about environmental issues in the sea.
The theme of this year’s event, the fourth of its kind, is “Environment. In addition to many environment-related booths, there will be booths where you can make your own original musical instruments using natural materials and a touch pool for fish.
The person in charge of the event says, “The weather is getting a little cooler, and it is now the season when you can spend a pleasant time outdoors. In addition to booths and stages, there will also be food, making this an event that can be enjoyed all day long by men and women of all ages. Please spend an eco-friendly day at Maiko Park, where you can feel nature by the sea.
