Awaji Highway Oasis, a gourmet food festival in addition to a show and a raffle

The “Oasis Autumn Festival” will be held on October 14 at Awaji Highway Oasis (Awaji City), located at the entrance to Awaji Island and connected to Awaji SA on the Kobe-Awaji Naruto Expressway.

This is the first time in five years that the popular event, which was held regularly before the Corona disaster, will be held this time.

There will be a “Doraemon Show” at 11:00 and 13:00, and dance performances by “D-NEXTWAY” (from 13:00) and “Swing Box” (from 14:00), two dance schools active on Awaji Island. There will also be a meet and greet with Awaji Tamako, the official character of Awaji Highway Oasis (from 11:30 a.m.).

The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge can be seen from the venue.

There will also be a “Gara-pon” lottery in which visitors can win Awaji Island specialties by answering questionnaires. 300 free servings of special miso soup with hamo (pike conger) and onions from Awaji Island will be served from 14:00. The event will also feature a kitchen car and the famous local Japanese sweets store “Kajitaya,” making it a gourmet event to be enjoyed by all.
