Hotel Plaza Kobe (Higashinada-ku, Kobe City) has begun accepting reservations for its “Japanese-Western Osechi” dishes for the beginning of the New Year 2025. The quantity is limited and will end as soon as it is sold out.
Three types of osechi, “Kiwami,” “Hibiki,” and “Aoi,” are prepared by the executive chef of Hotel Plaza Kobe, and are beautiful to the eye with an emphasis on the taste of the ingredients.
Each dish uses carefully selected ingredients. For example, “Koku” includes roast Kobe beef and abalone stew, “Hibiki” includes roasted Akashi sea bream and roast Japanese beef, and “Aoi” includes roast Japanese beef and roasted Akashi sea bream.
The “Kyoku” is a Japanese/Western Osechi dish specially prepared by Tatsumi Yamada, Executive Chef of Hotel Plaza Kobe. It features carefully selected local ingredients (Hyogo ingredients) such as Kobe beef, Akashi sea bream and octopus, as well as luxurious ingredients such as Japanese lobster and salmon roe.
Under the supervision of the executive chef, “Hibiki” is a Japanese/Western Osechi dish limited to 80 pieces, using only the finest ingredients. It is a standard Osechi with a good balance of Japanese and Western dishes such as Akashi sea bream yuan-yaki and Japanese roast beef.
This is the “Aoi” Japanese and Western Osechi dish, also supervised by the executive chef, and limited to 160 pieces. This “well balanced Osechi” incorporating French cuisine while cherishing traditional Japanese Osechi dishes such as abalones and black soybeans is popular every year and loved by people of all ages.
Early bird discount is also available with a 10% discount on all Osechi dishes except “Kiwami” if you make a reservation by October 31.
