Two Days of Fun and Games with a Variety of Experiences at the 4th Kakogawa Riverbanks

On October 19 and 20, a “hands-on” event, “The 4th Kako Re:Birth Festival for Kids and Adults,” will be held at “Kako Riverbanks Animal Forest Plaza” (Kakogawa City)! The 4th Kako Re:Birth” will be held at the Kakogawa Riverside Animal Forest Plaza (Kakogawa City). Admission is free, and pets are welcome.

This is a large-scale complex event that offers participatory programs in art, music, and craftsmanship that can only be experienced here, under the theme of the five “Shin” (new, heart, body, mind, true, and progress). and “play” to their heart’s content.

The “Try it out” booth will offer a variety of exciting workshops for all ages, including coffee making, woodworking, a Marugame Seimen Oke Workshop (wooden bucket repair experience), a sweetfish release experience (only on the 19th), and an aerial drone photography experience (only on the 20th). At the “Play” booth, visitors can experience a molok experience, bubbles, a giant children’s maze, an interesting ride, and other fun activities that take advantage of the riverbank’s expansive space.

In the “Create” booth, there will be seven types of hands-on booths, including natural stone accessory making, candle making (only on the 19th), and custom ballpoint pen making (only on the 20th), while in the “Eat” booth, visitors can enjoy a variety of gourmet food stalls featuring local ingredients and cooking methods.

Wanatabe Flower

A total of 20 groups will perform music and dance performances on stage over the two days at the “sense” booth, including Yuriko Kobayashi, a former middle-distance runner who competed in the Beijing Olympics, on the 19th, and “Watanabe Flower,” a rock and roll band active in Kobe, and young, mid-level, and veteran players from the Kansai region on the 20th. A professional big band “BigBand’A” made up of young, mid-career and veteran players from the Kansai region will appear as special guests.
