Rare experience in the car inspection area, which is not usually accessible! Rokko Liner

The “Rokko Liner Festival” will be held on November 10 at the Kobe New Transit Rokko Liner Inspection Station on Rokko Island (free admission).

This event is held annually by Kobe New Transit in commemoration of “Railroad Day,” which was established to celebrate the opening of Japan’s first railroad connecting Shimbashi Station and Yokohama Station. Many fun events and attractions are held, as well as hands-on experiences in the inspection area, which is normally inaccessible.

Among them are guided tours of the inspection area, tire inspection, sitting in the actual driver’s seat while wearing a uniform, and a car wash experience while riding in the car.

There will also be an N-gauge driving experience, HO-gauge model train exhibits, a corner selling train parts and goods, and food and beverage booths. The event will be fun for all the family, including children who are train liners and railroad fans.

In anticipation of crowds, there will be “Let’s Sit in the Driver’s Seat of the Rokko Liner! N gauge driving experience” and “Guided tour of the inspection area,” which are expected to be crowded, require advance registration (by lottery) by October 20. I was very interested in the Rokko Liner’s inspection area, a place I am not usually allowed to enter! In addition to the train event, there will also be a small animal corner and a science museum experiment show, so it will be a fun-filled autumn day.
