World Hall, which opened in October 1984, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Thanks to your support, approximately 17 million people have visited the hall so far. In order to make the facility even more beloved in the future, we will hold events to commemorate the 40th anniversary with the aim of enhancing its image and making it known to a wider audience.
1. Image enhancement project proposed by the art club of Shoin Junior and Senior High School
(1) How about “Tokimeki ♡ Chocolate” at the World Memorial Hall?
The art club of Shoin Junior High School and Senior High School, which has won numerous awards including the Rokko Meets Art exhibition, has teamed up with Nichifutsu Shoji Co., Ltd. which has a chocolate factory in Kobe City
and manufactures high-quality chocolates, to create an original chocolate “Tokimeki ♡ Chocolate”
with the image of World Memorial Hall. The chocolate will be sold in January 2025.
Date and time of sales: From late January 2025

(3) Give shape to students’ proposals! Government crowdfunding!
In order to realize “Tokimeki ♡ Choco Daisakusen” described in (1) and (2) above, Kobe City will challenge government crowdfunding using Hometown Tax
to raise funds to realize the students’ dream.
