KOBE (Higashinada-ku, Kobe) on Rokko Island will host a special commentary screening of the Netflix movie “The Story of Me, Who Has One Year to Live and Met You, Who Has Six Months to Live. KOBE” (Higashi Nada-ku, Kobe), where 100 people will be invited free of charge by drawing lots.
This is a rare opportunity to see the film on the big screen, as many scenes were filmed in Kobe, and the streaming service is usually unavailable in movie theaters.
The film is based on the best-selling novel of the same title by Aoi Morita, which has become a hot topic mainly on social networking services, and was made into a movie in June this year with Ren Nagase of the idol group “King & Prince” and model and actress Natsuki Deguchi.
This love story depicts a love with a time limit between a man and a woman who try to cherish their lives in the present, directed by Takahiro Miki and written by Tomoko Yoshida.
Django Film Producer Tatsuya Banno was the commentator at the screening. Ms. Mari Matsushita of Kobe Film Office will serve as a listener, and you can enjoy live commentary by the guests while watching the film.
<A word from the reporter>
