On December 15, “BOKETTO Beach Marché” will be held at Suma Beach Central Square (Suma-ku, Kobe).
While “slowly” spending time in the sea and mountains of Suma, “firmly” connecting with others, “gently” getting along with others, “a little bit” getting along with others, “a little bit” getting along with others, “a little bit” getting along with others, “a little bit” getting along with others, “a little bit” getting along with others. The Marche was started by people living in Suma with the idea of creating a place where people can “relax” and spend time “slowly,” “firmly” connect with each other, “softly” get to know each other “gently,” and “a little bit” enjoy themselves “carefree.
It is held from October to April, when Suma Beach is out of season, and this is the second time this season.
About 40 booths will be set up, including kitchen cars and other food and beverage, miscellaneous goods, books, and workshops. There will also be a “Children’s Challenge Booth” where children will serve and sell their own creations.
The booths are designed to make the time spent waiting in line enjoyable, with the person at the end of the line holding a flag and handing it to the next person in line when they arrive.
Original marche bags are also available! *Provided image
The Marche aims to be an “eco-friendly” marche that produces as little waste as possible, based on the philosophy of “thinking a little further”. Vendors are encouraged to use reusable tableware, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own containers.
In addition, trash from the Marché will be collected at trash stations set up in prominent locations throughout the venue to make trash visible. Beach cleanup activities will be conducted at the same time.
The organizer says, “Rather than a so-called event, we are holding this event as a gathering place with an everyday, homey atmosphere, like a weekend marché overseas. Please enjoy a relaxing time by the sea.
The prices for food and beverages are based on the premise of bringing one’s own containers. If you use disposable tableware, you will be charged separately, so please remember to bring your own containers.
<A word from the reporter>
The number of participants is increasing each time the marche is held. In addition to the great location, there are stores that sell by weight, bakeries that inevitably sell out, and the vendors are also attractive. It is also a good opportunity to think about environmental issues.
