Kobe Rokko Meats Art 2025 beyond,” a contemporary art festival on the Rokko Mountain in Kobe, will be held for 100 days from August 23 to November 30, 2025.
The venues include various facilities on Mt. Rokko, such as ROKKO Morino Sound Museum, Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden, and Rokko Garden Terrace area, where visitors can enjoy art works in a rich natural environment.
The event will feature a number of artists active in Japan and abroad. The first names announced are Taro Kitagawa, Keiichi Sato, Urisa Satoh, Hiraki Sawa, Ruri Hashi, Moe Nakamura, Hidemi Nishida, Misa Funai, Shin Minashi, and WA!moto. “Motoka Watanabe”.
The artwork for the official visuals was created by Moe Nakamura. Known for her style of carving and coloring using camphorwood logs, her artwork has a unique charm that evokes memories and emotions in the viewer, combining the strength of an initial impulse with an elegant finish.
