A feast of gourmet food, light, and music! Kobe Luminarie “KOBE Delight

The annual “KOBE Delight Fountain” will be held for 10 days from January 24 to February 2, 2025, at the Flower Clock Plaza on the south side of Higashi Yuenchi (Chuo Ward, Kobe City). Admission is free.

As a Kobe Luminarie sponsored event, visitors can enjoy local food and music culture along with fantastic illuminations.

The music stage program will feature professional musicians and student bands, mainly jazz and flute, which are representative of Kobe’s musical culture, and will change each day.

On the first day, the “HAPPY Choir” from Katsuragi Elementary School in Kobe and the “Norie Hirose Flute Ensemble” are scheduled to perform, followed by jazz and a cappella performances by university students.

At the venue, 11 local companies (Henri Charpentier, UCC Ueshima Coffee, Kobe Croquette, Toyo Nuts, Donk, Lao Shoki, MCC, Kenryo Shuzo, QBB, Kinryukaku, and Franz) will be presenting the culinary charms of the Hanshin area in gourmet booths.

The booths will feature a variety of original menu items from each company, including confections, beverages, and snacks, such as financiers from Henri Charpentier, Kobe Coffee Croquettes from Kobe Croquettes, pork buns from Lao Shoki, Kobe beef stew from UCC Japan, and strawberry milk chocolates from Franz.

This year’s popular event, where visitors can enjoy popular local delicacies with music in the fantastic light, will be held again this year! This year, the Chinese restaurant “Jinryugak” and the sweets store “Franz” will newly open their stores, and the event is expected to be even more exciting.
