Small Spring Produce Market at Rokko Island, Sheraton Farm

GREEN FARMERS MARKET” organized by “Sheraton Farm,” a rental farm of Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers, will be held on April 1.

The location is on the 1st and 2nd floors of River Mall East on Rokko Island (adjacent to the rotary on the north side of the hotel).

Fresh vegetables from BIO CREATORS (Nishi-ku, Kobe), homemade sandwiches from Sheraton Marche, and other gourmet foods, sweets, and drinks will be on sale.
A “seedling planting mini-workshop” will also be held. The instructors will be Mr. Oosara of Naturalism Farm and BIO CREATORS, who will teach visitors how to start growing organic vegetables in a planter (advance reservations required).
Sheraton Farm is an organic rental farm that started in 2021 as Kobe City’s first “Urban Farming Project” in an effort to increase the number of people who come into contact with agriculture in urban areas.

The farm aims to promote learning and community building through hands-on farming experiences, and to encourage people to think about food and lifestyles.

The Sheraton Farm (on the roof of the 3rd floor of River Mall East), which is normally only open to members, is now open to the public and can be visited freely. ＜
It will be a great opportunity to think about food, body, and the earth while enjoying shopping and gourmet food at the market. I’m also curious to see the rental farm on the rooftop!
