Today, a transportation disruption occurred on the Kobe New Transit Rokko Island Line due to an in-train emergency stop button being pressed.
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to passengers.

Rokko Island Line between Sumiyoshi Station and Uozaki Station (downbound)
3. Course of events
7:33 a.m. | Due to a sudden illness, the onboard emergency stop button is pressed and the train stops. |
7:42 a.m. | The staff board the train and begin to respond to the situation. |
8:27 a.m. | The train resumes operation after the in-train emergency stop is restored. |
4. Cause
The in-train emergency stop button was pressed due to a sudden illness, and it took some time for the button to be restored.
The cause of the delay is currently under investigation.
5. Impact
Maximum delay: approx. 79 minutes
Number of passengers affected: approx. 2,800
Number of trains suspended: 2 (1 up and 1 down)
