Kobe City: Call for nominations of candidates for the 41st Kobe Youth Award

Purpose

The City of Kobe awards the Kobe Youth Award to individuals and organizations that have made particularly outstanding achievements or steady efforts in the promotion of cultural, sporting, and social activities of the city’s youth, and whose activities are worthy of special encouragement.

In 2022, the 41st year of the Kobe Youth Awards, we will be accepting applications for the award as follows.

The recipient of the award will be decided in mid-January 2023, and the recommender will be notified.

2. Eligibility for nomination

(1) Individuals: Children, students, and students up to approximately 18 years of age who reside or attend school in the city.

(2) Groups: Groups consisting of children, students, and students up to approximately 18 years of age who reside or attend school in the city.

*Please obtain the applicant’s consent before making a recommendation.

3. Selection Criteria

Culture and Sports Division

　Those that have achieved first or second place in a national scale concert, exhibition, or competition.

　Those who have achieved first to third place in concerts, exhibitions, competitions, etc. of international scale.

　Those who have achieved first to third place in international-scale concerts, exhibitions, competitions, etc.

Social Division: Those who have been involved in volunteer activities for approximately five years or more.

　Those who have been engaged in volunteer activities for approximately five years or more.

　Those who have been engaged in volunteer activities for approximately 5 years or more, and those who are considered to be particularly worthy of awards.

*Competition results for the two-year period from January 2011 to December 2022 will be considered.

　Friday, December 16, 2022

5. Nomination Method

Please fill out the “Kobe Youth Award Candidate Nomination Form” and submit it to the e-mail address below, along with a summary of the competition, a list of results, and a copy of the certificate of commendation. The form is available on the Kobe Youth Award website. (If you have difficulty submitting the form by e-mail, you may also send it by mail.)

If you wish to nominate an applicant for the 2021 Kobe Youth Show! Photo Panel Exhibition, you may use the application documents submitted last year in lieu of the above documents.

Please note that submitted documents will not be returned.
