Children show off the results of their training at the end of this year’s laughter! Kobe City Nada Ward Residents

The 10th Nadakko Yose” will be held at Kobe Nada Kumin Hall on December 24.

Children who have practiced rakugo at the “Children’s Rakugo Class” held regularly at the hall will perform a rakugo act. Elementary and junior high school students can see the performances free of charge.

Children who participated in the “Children’s Rakugo Class” taught by Chinosuke Shofukutei, a rakugo storyteller from and living in Nada Ward, will perform the results of their six practice sessions held from November to the first half of December.
On the day of the performance, members of the Kobe University Rakugo Society will make a friendly appearance as “Ohayashi,” and the instructor, Shinosuke Shofukutei, will also make an appearance!
Shofukutei Tomonosuke was
born and lives in Nada-ku, Kobe. He has been performing magic since he was a junior high school student and sometimes appears on stage as a magician. Since 2013, he has been teaching Rakugo at elementary schools in Nada Ward, bringing the charm of Rakugo to more than 4,000 children. ＜In
recent years, rakugo has been gaining popularity among children and young people.
You never know, one of the performers may be a future “shin-uchi” (professional comedian)!
