Kobe’s largest citywide cosplay event! Cosplay Event “Cosmel

One of the largest cosplay events in the city of Kobe, “Cosmel in Former Futaba Elementary School” will be held on December 25. No advance application is required.

Centered on the Futaba School (Kobe Municipal Human Resources Support Center), the entire Shin-Nagata South area becomes a cosplay space where people can enjoy photo sessions in a variety of locations.
The event is held on the third or fourth Saturday or Sunday of every month. After registering at the Futaba Gakusha and receiving a “CoSmel Participation Certificate,” photographers are free to take photos in the area (with some precautions and prohibitions).
You can participate in the event as either a cosplayer or a photographer.

In addition to the Futaba Academy, almost the entire area south of Shin-Nagata Station, including Tetsujin Hiroba, Komabayashi Shrine, parks, Taisho-suji Shopping Arcade, and Rokumamichi Shopping Arcade, will be used as a cosplay venue, and participants are free to walk around in cosplay in the area!
Participants will also receive a 500-yen coupon for use at the Taisho-suji and Rokumamichi shopping streets. ＜It’s amazing that you
can freely stroll the streets in cosplay!
