On July 1 and 2, “Throwing Fishing Experience for Parents and Children” (no advance application required) and “Boat Fishing Experience for Parents and Children” (advance application required) will be held at “Suma Beach” in Suma-ku, Kobe on July 22 and 23, respectively.

This event will be held as part of the “Sumahama Project to nurture children,” a nature experience learning program that spans the four seasons. The purpose of this event is to let children learn about the natural environment of the Suma Coast and feel attachment to the town of Suma and the Suma Coast.
In the “Parent-child Throwing Fishing Experience” on July 1 and 2, children can try throwing a fishing rod and insect bait at the Suma Beach, and also experience a touch pool where they can touch Suma’s sea creatures such as horse mackerels and flounders.
