A new design has been added to the popular “Gyoshu-in” (seal of fish) at the “Theatrical Aquarium átoa” and has been on sale since March 1.
Commemorating your visit to the ATOA, the name of the seal is “魚朱印”!
The “魚朱印” (fish seal) has been on sale since June 2022. Many visitors have said that it is a perfect commemoration of their visit to the museum, so we have decided to add a new design to commemorate the first anniversary of the opening of the museum.
In addition to the two existing creature designs, four new designs have been added. This makes a total of six types of fish red seals available for purchase, allowing visitors to choose their favorite one of the day from a wide range of variations.

All the stamps on the fish red seals are handmade by the staff. For the “Pirarucu,” the staff paid close attention to the line of sight and the shape of the scales to match the movement of the fish, and they cut out and drew the moment when the fish was swimming in the Atoa tank to create a stamp that realistically reproduces the creature’s characteristics.

Each red seal is accompanied by a commentary written by the keeper of the creature that served as the model. It is recommended that you observe the fish up close while reading the commentary written on the red seal. <A word from the reporter>
