Let’s spend the off-season “BOKETTO” at Suma Beach, Suma Beach

BOKETTO Beach Marché” will be held on May 12 at Suma Beach Central Square.

Let’s “relax” in the sea and mountains of Suma, “connect” with each other “firmly”, “gently”, “a little bit”, and “a little bit”. The Marche was started by people living in Suma with the idea of creating a place where people can “relax,” “connect” with each other “firmly,” “softly,” “gently,” and “carefree” while “slowly” spending time by the sea and mountains. This is the fourth time it has been held.

The scale of the event has grown each time, and this year, 36 stores are scheduled to participate.

In addition to gourmet booths selling fermented foods, breads, Cuban sandwiches, chicken rice, curry, etc., there will also be vegan leather goods and accessories.

Local people and vendors are connecting with each other, and new collaborations are being created, for example, restaurants offering food using farmers’ ingredients.

There will also be picture-story shows and storytelling for children to enjoy. There will also be “Children’s Challenge Booths,” where local children can think of their own ideas and open their own stalls.

The event aims to “keep trash out” and encourages visitors to bring their own containers (cutlery, cups, etc.) and eco-bags to take home.

A beach cleanup activity is held at the same time as the Marché, and tools are available for rent.
