KOBE Tomarigi, an organization that conducts community revitalization and social contribution activities in Nada Ward, Kobe City, will hold a marché event “TOMARIGI MARKET in Southern Mall ROKKO B612” at the Southern Mall Rokko B612 and Southern Mall Second Street shopping mall in the same ward on October 22 and 23. The event will be held on October 22 and 23. Admission is free.
About 60 stores from a wide range of genres, including local restaurants, general merchandise, and workshops, will be open on both days. In addition, there will be a “student booth” run mainly by high school students and a music stage by student groups.
In addition to the booths, a special booth will be set up at the venue to introduce the attractions of the “Danjiri parade,” which will be held the following week on October 30 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the establishment of Nada Ward. Visitors will be able to freely view exhibits that show the history of the Danjiri parade, as well as the Hanbukis of past generations.
About 80 stores will appear in the main booths over the two days. A wide variety of food and beverage stalls are scheduled to open, ranging from rice dishes, seafood, meat, etc. to sweets such as baked sweets, cakes, gelato, breads, etc.
Various products in the miscellaneous category will also be on sale, including handmade accessories, clothing accessories, moss balls, crafts, and more. At the “student booths,” which will be managed by local high school students, “wagashi” and “blueberry juice” will be sold and served. This is the first time KOBE Tomariki has set up two student booths.
