The “Sky Day Event 2022” will be held on October 23 at Kobe Airport (Chuo Ward, Kobe City) to familiarize visitors with airports and aircraft. Admission is free.
This is an annual event to commemorate “Sky Day” on September 20, but it will be held for the first time in three years after being postponed for the past several years due to the prevention of new coronavirus infection. The entire airport will be the venue for a variety of events, including bus tours, workshops, a stage for mascot characters, and kitchen cars.
Events requiring numbered tickets on the day include a bus tour of areas normally off-limits to visitors, an airplane guidance experience for elementary school students, a chance to try on kids’ uniforms, and a ride on a towing tractor, a vehicle that works at the airport. Numbered tickets will be distributed from the designated time and will be closed as soon as they are gone.
In addition, there will be events that visitors can freely participate in. On the stage, there will be a photo session with “Sorayan,” the official character of the Kansai Airport Group, and other mascot characters, as well as a music concert to liven up the event.
There will also be a kitchen car selling Akashiyaki and curry bread from Yakiniku Tamura, and special events featuring pork buns from Lao Shoki and Shixing Lou.
The organizer says, “In honor of “Sky Day,” there will be a lot of fun events to make you feel closer to the airport and airplanes! Please come and visit us. <The
permanent museum “MINIATURE LIFE x KOBE AIRPORT” by Tatsuya Tanaka, a miniature photographer and visualization artist, just opened at Kobe Airport a few days ago.
I would like to visit the museum in conjunction with the event. ^
