With the
shift from “Phase V” to “Phase III” of Hyogo Prefecture’s healthcare delivery system from February 15, a total of 54 beds, including 13 beds at Nishi-Kobe Medical Center, 16 beds at Kobe University Hospital (including 8 critical care beds), which were temporarily expanded The total of 54 beds (25 beds at four other public hospitals) will be reduced. As a result, the number of beds that can be accepted from February 15 will be 379 (including 45 critical care beds).
When there is a shortage of beds, the number of beds will be expanded temporarily at the public hospitals, and normal medical care will be restricted at the municipal hospitals to secure a maximum of 465 beds (53 of which are critical care beds).
