Blue Moon was created in the United States in 1995 by Keith Villa, brewer and founder of Molson Coors, who was inspired by the traditional Belgian wheat beer brewing process at a baseball stadium in Denver, Colorado. It is currently enjoyed in more than 25 countries around the world.
When poured into a glass, it has a fruity flavor full of citrus aromas and a lightly spicy wheat aroma, with a very creamy taste.
The first sip reveals a refreshing flavor, accented by the spicy aroma of coriander. The orange peel adds a subtle sweetness that lingers in the mouth.
The standard way to drink BLUE MOON is to chill it to 2-8℃, pour it into a well-chilled glass, and garnish with an orange peel. It is said to accentuate the refreshing taste of the beer even more! <
The fact that it was made in a brewery on a baseball field is a wonderful American episode (laughs). The product name “BLUE MOON” comes from a baseball fan who was so impressed by the beer’s great taste that he said, “It’s a miracle that it tastes this great! (ONCE IN A BLUE MOON ! (ONCE IN A BLUE MOON !)”
