The Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers (Higashinada-ku, Kobe) will hold a gastronomy tour “Connecting Restaurants – City Edition” on October 30.
Kobe, where primary industries such as agriculture and fisheries are active, has a culture and soil where the three parties, from producers to chefs and tasters, can interact with each other because of the close proximity between production and consumption areas.
This event is part of the “Gastronomy Tourism” program, a trip to experience Kobe’s food culture, which includes a tour of Kobe Shu-shin-kan, the brewery that produces Fukuju, a Nada sake, and at dusk, an outdoor restaurant at the Sheraton Farm, an organic farm adjacent to the hotel, where guests can enjoy aperitifs and hors d’oeuvres before moving to the hotel’s top floor for dinner while enjoying the night view. This plan allows you to enjoy dinner while enjoying the night view.
At “Sheraton Farm” at dusk, you can enjoy a sommelier’s specially selected aperitif, Kobe beef inner thigh tartar with salted Okuno egg and Rokko champignon ajillo, and at dinner on the top floor of the hotel, you can enjoy dishes using a variety of Kobe ingredients and sommelier-selected wine and sake.

In addition, local producers and breweries will participate as guest speakers on the day. This is a rare opportunity to interact with local producers and brewers while enjoying Kobe’s food culture. A plan to stay overnight at the hotel is also available.
