On May 27, “COSCUL” (Higashinada-ku, Kobe), a resale store of the Costco membership supermarket from the U.S., opened along the stone-paved Okamoto shopping street, not far from Hankyu Okamoto Station and JR Settsuhonyama Station.
Costco resale stores, which have been increasing in number in various locations in recent years, have finally appeared in the Okamoto area. The advantage of this store is that there is no annual membership fee, and also that customers can purchase without going to Costco stores located in the suburbs. Since you can buy in small lots, you can easily try out products you have been curious about.
Although it is a small store, it is packed with approximately 150-170 items selected from Costco’s most popular items.
The store stocks items almost daily, once or twice a day, and also carries prepared foods such as bulgogi, rotisserie chicken (in limited quantities), and high rollers.
<Owner’s Comments>
We opened this store because we like the fashionable atmosphere of Okamoto. We aim to be a small, community-based Costco, so please feel free to stop by!
<A comment from a reporter>
Convenient for non-members and even members who want to try products they have been curious about, or when they don’t have time to go to a Costco store in the suburbs! It is divided into small portions, so you can buy this and that!
