Details of the project
Citizens who wish to be vaccinated against rubella (including the combined measles and rubella vaccine) and do not have sufficient antibodies against rubella are partially subsidized for the cost of the vaccination.

If a woman in the early stages of pregnancy (before 20 weeks) is infected with rubella, a baby may be born with congenital rubella syndrome, a disorder of the eyes, ears, heart, or other parts of the body.
Wind-protection is an infectious disease that can be prevented with a vaccine.
Eligible Persons
Those who are registered residents of Kobe City as of the date of vaccination and meet any of the following conditions (1) to (3)
- (1) Women between the ages of 15 and 42 who wish to become pregnant, Low antibody titer (2) Those with the same residence as in (1).
- (2) A person living with the woman in (1) who has a low antibody titer, Low antibody titer (3) of those living with a pregnant woman who has low antibody titer
- (3) Of the cohabitants of a pregnant woman with low antibody titer, Low antibody titer Pregnant women with low antibody titer
Pregnant women should not be vaccinated.
Women who are pregnant should not be vaccinated.

Subsidy amount
2,500 yen (maximum)
*One person can be subsidized only once.
*Inoculations may not be given at the discretion of the physician. Please note that medical fees incurred in such cases are to be borne by the applicant.
Procedure
- Make an appointment at a medical institution that has a contract with Kobe City.
- Application forms are available at the medical institution. Fill out the application form and receive the vaccination.
- After the vaccination, please pay the co-payment (2,500 yen minus the amount set by the medical institution).
Things to bring
- Identification documents showing your name and address (My number card, health insurance card, driver’s license, etc.)
[Those who have a substandard blood sample taken on or after April 1, 2014
- Women who are between 15 and 43 years old and wish to become pregnant: Fu-shin antibody test result sheet
- Women who live with a woman who wishes to become pregnant and is between 15 and 43 years of age: Documents showing the name, age and address of the woman who lives with the woman (health insurance card, driver’s license, etc.), and the result sheet for the wind infection antibody test for the woman who lives with the woman.
- A person living with a pregnant woman with low antibody titer: Maternal and child health handbook of the pregnant woman living with the applicant (or a copy of the page of the maternal and child health handbook showing the name and address of the pregnant woman and the results of the wind-protection antibody test).
*We may check the actual status of the residence indicated on the application form and the results of the wind-protection antibody test.
*If a false application is made, the applicant may be asked to return the subsidy.
