Ryo Sonoda Trio Concert at Kobe Fashion Museum to Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Fashion City Declaration

　To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Kobe Fashion City Declaration in January 2023, a
trio concert will be held in the Orbis Hall of the Kobe Fashion Museum.
　The performer, Ryo Sonoda, made his major debut in 2010 with the “Sonoda Band,” which he formed with music friends he met while a student at the University of Tokyo.
He is still active in a wide range of activities.
　We hope you will take this opportunity to enjoy the richness of his music.

Profile of Ryo Sonoda

　Pianist, keyboardist, composer, arranger. Born in Hyogo Prefecture.
　When he was a student at Nada Junior High School, he was exposed to the overwhelmingly amazing performance of the top students, and he decided to become a musician, believing that “music is the only thing for me.
　While attending the University of Tokyo, he trained at jazz club sessions in Tokyo.
　In 2010, he led his own instrumental band, “Sonoda Band,” which made its major debut. Currently, he performs his own concerts in a wide variety of formations, as well as a wide range of other activities. He is also active in giving lectures to junior and senior high school students, utilizing his unusual background as a musician from the University of Tokyo, and writing for various magazines, including “Sonoda Ryoufu Fantasy” (Yomiuri Shimbun Online) and “Zusou” (Kobe Shimbun).
